MOS 0205, Tactical Intelligence Officer (III)#

a. Summary. Tactical intelligence officers serve in selected internal and external billets which relate to the planning, collection, analysis, and production of strategic and combatintelligence of a specialized or technical nature. Performs, supervises, and coordinates those specialized intelligence related tasks required in all aspects of strategic and combat intelligence analysis, collection management, surveillance and reconnaissance, targeting, human intelligence and intelligence specialist teams, and element operations.

b. Requirements/Prerequisites

(1) Must be eligible for access to sensitive compartmented information based on a special background investigation.

(2) Complete one of the formal intelligence courses listed in MOS 0202, Requirements/Prerequisites of this Manual.

(3) Must have previously served in one of the following MOSs: 0211, 0231, 0241, or 0251.

# This MOS has been deleted and is no longer being assigned. Reserve Warrant Officers may retain this MOS and be assigned to 0202 billets commensurate with their rank and experience until attrition or lateral move.
