Marine Uniform Enlisted Strips (Hash Marks)

Each Stripe Indicates Four (4) Years Of Honorable Service

These Enlisted Stripes ( Hash Marks) Below Indicate at least Eight (8) Years.  Marine Wearing These May Have Up To Eleven (11) Years, Eleven (11) Months and Thirty (30) Days, As Each Is Given For Four (4) Years Honorable Service Period.

Each Bronze Star On The Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal/Ribbon Indicates Three (3) Years of Honorable Service.  The Good Conduct Medal Below Indicates At Least Six (6) Years Of Service.
